How to add Public Folders in OWA 2013

With the release of Microsoft Exchange 2013 Cumulative Update 1, Microsoft has added the ability to add Exchange 2013 public folders into Outlook Web App. It is important to remember that this only works with 2013 Public Folders and cannot be used to view or manage legacy Public Folders.

To add a Public Folder into your Web App view

  1. Right click on the FAVORITES button in the left hand mailbox column in Web App.
  2. Select ADD PUBLIC FOLDER
  3. Select the folder you wish to add. (Public Folders can only be added one at a time, so this procedure will need to be replicated for each Public Folder the user wishes to add)

Once you have done this the Public Folder will appear in the Favorites menu in Outlook Web App.

Use Ctrl+Shift+R to "Reply all" to the selected message.
